Getting Printer Driver

The Canon Pixma MG 2922 Printer driver that's linked in a 2020 Q&A session led to a page on the Canon website requiring login after which the page was not found. It exacerbates the problem since there's no driver download on the Canon website either. The Canon printer registration ID required can't get beyond the name/address page to be assigned a registration ID and access beyond that is impossible.

Does anyone have the Pixma 2922 driver download available?

Alternatively, on my MAC iOS 13, to add the canon printer a list of HP, Epson and various other printers appears, but nothing for Canon.

Does anyone know the equivalent that might be listed on a MAC that will work with a Pixma 2922?

Hi,

Unfortunately, the Canon MG2922 does not appear to compatible with AirPrint:

An MG2922 is not listed as supported in the March 13, 2024 en-us edition of About AirPrint - Apple Support.

sberman has provided you with a link to the main Canon support page. If macOS Ventura v13 is selected under Software & Drivers, a printer driver will not be found.

If the selection is changed to macOS Monterey v12, there is an MG2900 series CUPS Printer Driver Ver.16.40.1.0 (Mac) from 2021. This seems to be the latest available printer driver for the MG2922. Whether it would work with macOS Ventura 13 or not is another matter. It would be entirely experimental.

As always, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files before testing anything. Software conflicts cannot be ruled out.
