GIFs playing too fast when opened by receivers with non Apple phones

I had an iPhone 8s and upgraded to an iPhone 15 pro max. Since then, all the GIF’s I’ve sent to an android user are received so sped up they’re barely visible with the animation. I’ve seen this problem listed a year ago with ZERO resolution. Before I give up on Apple, I’m hoping for some advise!
