I have already deleted and reinstalled it. If I search for it, it appears. However, the home screen no longer has the app icon.

Go to the App Library by swiping all the way to the left. You can then move the app to anyone of your Home Screens.
Thank you. I tried that, but it just disappears when I "let it go" in a spot on the Home Screen. It does not land on the screen.
Do you have the option to "Add to Home Screen" when you long press the app from the App Library?
Please hold oj App in app library and select „add to home screen”. If this does not help, please reset the phone and try again. May be a bug.
