Siri, will it rain today? Answers with high/low temperatures

Me: Siri, will it rain today (or what time will it rain/is it going to rain today)?

Siri: the high today will be ... and the low will be ... (always the same)

This happens on all my devices (iPhone, Mac, HomePods) - but is new: until a couple of weeks ago Siri gave the right answer. My only idea is that it is related to the latest 17.4 release.

I have reset Siri completely (and deleted iCloud data).

Any ideas on how to get the rain back!

If Siri is unable to provide your location for weather updates due to settings, it may be because location services are disabled or restricted on your device. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

  1. Check Location Services Settings: Go to your device's settings and ensure that Location Services are turned on. You can usually find this option under Privacy settings. Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Siri & Dictation > While Using the App [Check]
  2. Allow Location Access for Siri: Make sure Siri has permission to access your location. In your device settings, under Siri & Search, ensure that "Location Access" is enabled.
  3. Reset Siri Settings: Sometimes resetting Siri settings can resolve such issues. You can do this by going to Settings > Siri & Search > Reset Siri Data.
  4. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your device has a stable internet connection. Sometimes, Siri might have trouble retrieving location information if the internet connection is weak or unstable.
  5. Update iOS: If you're using an iOS device, ensure your device is running the latest version of iOS. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements that could resolve issues with Siri.
  6. Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary glitches. Try restarting your device and then asking Siri for the weather again.

If you've tried these steps and Siri still can't provide your location for weather updates, you may want to contact Apple Support for further assistance, as there could be a deeper issue with your device or settings.
