Sky news App says “ unable to load data from remote service” on Apple “
The App won’t open at all now. It used to show non live highlights, but now it won’t work at all. I am a subscriber to Skynews.
Try deleting and reinstalling?

It is not an Apple issue but a poorly written app from News Ltd.
I have been having the same issue and unfortunately News Ltd. is not interested in resolving it. Even on the latest iPad Air M2 the app is infuriatingly slow, but it flies on Android 14.
It will not operate on Apple TV+ even with update to iOS 17.2.
Nor do they provide apps for most Smart TVs.
But I am not surprised because I dumped Foxtel because trying to deal with the Telstra/Foxtel "service" was infuriating, they are obsessed with their own infallibility.
Please contact the content provider/app developer/app publisher for further assistance.
Dude, give it a break and start a fresh discussion with details on your setup. You are not entitled to any support from Apple for a non-working third party app and Apple does not monitor this forum for getting “involved”.

Another non-useful response. In the app sky gives “partner with sky news” as the support url, this is a fake url and does not provide technical support. Another apple failure to enforce their own rules on ensuring that those of us that pay for apps get the support we pay for, it’s simply not working.
We’ve got 2 Apple TVs in 2 different locations, both are totally up to date and both have exactly the same error and if you surf the internet looking for this error there are dozens of people let alone the ones who just accept it doesn’t work and say nothing
