something is stealing application focus

iMac, Ventura 14.3.1

There is something on my machine that keeps stealing focus.

I could be typing in any application, when all of a sudden the window focus changes.

The application name in the upper left does not change. Only the window stops being active.

Nothing appears in front - it's just that whatever field I'm typing in suddenly no longer accepts typing. Clicking in the window to bring it forward again allows me to keep typing in the window.

Some app, or some extension is causing this, but I can't figure out which one it is. It's more likely an extension, because, as I mentioned, the app name doesn't change, only the window focus.

Is there a log file that I can view to see what might be causing this? Just in writing this request, it happened 5 times.
