IOS Messenger background not blurred when long pressed

when i take a screenshot of my text messages, you can read the other messages in the background. i’ve have had other people send a screenshot of a text message and the background is blurred and you cannot see other text messages but that one text. ive tried turning the reduce transparency on and off, it’s not working. also tried turning my phone on and off.

BLUR MESSAGES ON MESSENGER When I long press the specific text message on messenger the background isn't blurring but when I saw my friend's stories when they long press a single text message the other messages were blurred how can I apply that on my phone I tried uninstalling the app and its still doesn't work
