when i take a screenshot of my text messages, you can read the other messages in the background. i’ve have had other people send a screenshot of a text message and the background is blurred and you cannot see other text messages but that one text. ive tried turning the reduce transparency on and off, it’s not working. also tried turning my phone on and off.

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you'd like to be able to take screenshot of a text message and have the background blurred. If you touch and hold the specific text message, it will show only that text and blur the background. When you take a screenshot, it will show exactly what shows on your screen. If the background is blurry when you take the screenshot, it should show exactly that. If the background is not blurry when you take the screenshot, you would need to create the blur by editing the photo in a photo app.
