Freezing issue on iPhone after iOS 17.4.1 update

I thought I'd see the restore option where I found reset option. It wasn't there. I ended up with a total mess!! I did find the restore option but too late!! I'm going to have to read the entire manual on td 15 Max Pro. And I use 3 fingers to swipe up for closing open windows!!

Hundreds of people conplaining and Apple doesn’t give a f - ck, nice. This will be the first and last iPhone I’ll own. I have an important event tomorrow and I won’t be able to take pictures because the camera of my 1000$ and 6 month old iPhone is freezing

I tried this too, and was very excited when it seemed to work. Until it didn't work! Within about 5 minutes my messages app started freezing again. I've done the up, down, side button trick (waiting until the Apple logo appears before releasing the side button, as instructed) about half a dozen times since finding out about it yesterday, and no success aside from a momentary unfreeze. My Google search app started freezing today in addition to Messages app. It is very difficult to send or respond to a message currently.

I also experience this issue on my iPhone 12 after updating to iOS 17.4.1.

My iPhone often freez/crash/auto-restart suddenly and the face ID sometimes not work properly so i need to reset my iPhone almost everyday :(

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Agree - this update is junk. Something definitely affected iMessage. Every time I open iMessage it freezes…when I go into settings and open iMessage in settings it freezes. All other apps and buttons are working correctly. Some developer did something to iMessage. I hope apple fixes this asap.

I have an IPhone 11 with plenty of storage and after the update when I go into apps and I scroll through phone freezes. 99% of the time I have to close the app and go back in. I have restarted my phone, Ddleted any app I don’t use any longer. Offloaded all my photos onto a thumb drive. Still locking up. I have Fiber for internet at the fastest speed.

What mess?

I want to update my ios to ios 17.4.1 in my iPhone 15 pro max but during update it freezes and it hasn’t been solved by forcing restart of my phone

I got an iPhone 14 Pro and I updated yesterday today my phone started acting slow and now I can’t even open the apps, I never had a problem with the IOS 17.3.1.

I also have the same problem! Many apps start freezing at their splash screen. Have never experienced that before. So annoying!

ipad 17.4.1 multiple reboots - still everything freezing. I’ll wait to update my phone given these problems.
