Same story here. See my post of the subject. Apps Mail, File and Settings freezing more and more often and then all the phone is freezing and often goes in Panic Full. Restore from backup doesn’t help: after a couple of hours it starts again; restore from scratch works, but after some weeks the problem reappears. Apple unable to address it (they even let me change the iPhone board) and suspects go on some bugs affecting iOS from version 17.4.

So glad it’s not just me. I thought I’d been hacked. I’ve found that a Clean RAM Memory with Device Monitor seems to fix it for a while.

I have the same issue with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Wien i want to use the Share or the files App the App freezes.

the files App from Apple freezes the hole phone and an Hard reset is needed.

it appeared for me with the 17.4.1 version.

I am experiencing this across the board. All of my devices are updated and having freezing issues! The worst and most consistent is my M1 iPad Pro. It has a constant delay from all inputs. Even after hard restarting.

Having same issue after updating to 17.4.1. I have iPhone 14 Pro Max and this also happens to my mother’s iPhone also 14 Pro Max after the update to 17.4.1. Phone completely froze and only hard reset restores the phone.. works fine for 24 hours then freeze at random app and need hard reset again… nice one Apple

also I noticed iCloud have issues with sync photos means I can’t download originals. It works after hard reset and also breaks after 24h. Could be related to this?

Same here, iPad 9th gen. 17.4.1 applied, but constantly freezing, especially if I use the files folder to read a simple PDF. That’s pretty annoying during a study. It seems to me quite general problem accross all Apple platforms, not a user, app or file specific problem.

It seems to be related to any cloud access apps. iCloud, Sharepoint/OneDrive, and Google apps freeze most of the time.

I suspect it is because of some new security measures.

After update 17.4.1 on iPhone 11 Pro : Did hard reboot after all apps frozen and unable to open- changed nothing, still freezing. Phone is glitchy. Updates are supposed to help and rectify issues. The next update can’t come soon enough to fix this one!!!

I have new 15 Pro Max. Not a freebee, either. Suddenly I find closing apps to be problematic.. I told Siri to do it and she told me to swipe up halfway, choose the app, then swipe up. Am I stupid or just old??

actually most commands from the context menu (e.g. copy, assign to, …) freeze.

however my iPhone keeps being responsible since last update (17.4.1).

i also noticed that messages exchanged (I.e. send and received) would disappear from iMessages. But still present on the corresponding person iphone

Whatapps freeze n freeze… and very laggy.. hope will have another update to solve this problem.. I’m using 15plus and battery is draining fast and screen suddenly so hot. I don’t have such issues before..
