Google Messages No Notification Sound on Safari at all

I use both apple and windows products. However, I only use Google Messages as my sole message app.

I pair Google Message for computers and phone. The windows desktop always plays the notification sound when there is a new text coming in. On the contrary, there is no sound AT ALL for my MacBook.

Is there something extra I need to do in order to make it sound on Safari (I turn all the notification sound ON already)???

Chrome notification sounds stopped working on MacBook I am running Monterey 12.5 on my work MacBook Pro and personal MacBook Air. Recently I have noticed that browser push notification sounds no longer work in Chrome. (They are also not working in Edge, although they do work in Firefox). I have test this with several websites. The notifications are turned on in my settings and in Chrome they are turned on for the sites I have tested with. Chrome has recently updated so I'm not sure if this is an issue with MacBook or Chrome. As far as I can tell my settings are all correct to play sound. Is there anything I can try?

Mac Mail app plays additional, unwanted "Mezzo" alert sound No matter how I set "New Messages Sound" in Mail Settings, I also hear the "Mezzo" sound whenever new mail arrives. For every message there are two sounds—what I select AND Mezzo. (If I select Mezzo as my new mail sound do I not get two alerts, just the Mezzo once.) But I dislike Mezzo and want only the sound I prefer. I have booted into Safe Mode and nothing was different. How can I maintain my notifications but stop Mezzo? Thank you.
