If the following sequence doesn’t work:

Use Private Browsing in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

Check whether this Mac and this iPhone have Focus, or Screen Time, or Parental Controls enabled, and set for blocking private browsing. If any of those are enabled, disable those, and check again.

Also check whether there are any MDM management profiles loaded on the Mac and in the iPhone, too.

So to confirm on the iPhone, Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > [off] is the current setting?

There are a couple of apps on this Mac that might appear associated with a school.

HUB Young.app, and ClasseViva Studenti.app

if this Mac is administered by or your activities are associated with a school, check with school IT, too.

sorry for the misunderstanding, I have this problem on my Mac with macOS Sonoma 14.4 and IOS 17.4

macOS runs on Mac. iOS runs on iPhone (and older iPad). If you have both macOS 14.4 and iOS 17.4, first go update macOS and iOS to current, and then check for and disable Focus, or Screen Time, Parental Controls, or MDM profiles on the iPhone. Yes, check on the Mac and also check on the iPhone, even though your screenshot above is for macOS.

Okay, so you have both an iPhone and a Mac, and no restrictions and no profiles and no parental controls and no MDM on either.

Please update both iOS to,17.4.1, and macOS to 14.4.1.

If that update fails to resolve this, next stop is going to be details of the Mac configuration. Kindly download and run (free) EtreCheck, and share the report to the clipboard. Then open a new reply here, and press the Additional Text button (that looks like a printed page) to get a text input box big enough to paste the hardware and software configuration report here, and paste and post that report here.

In my iPhone (IOS 14.4) and in my Mac (macOS Sonoma 14.4) I have this problem:

  • I can't open a new private browsing window
  • I can't delete my chronology

Like I said I tried to see if in focus, or screen time I have restrictions but I haven't and I also I don't have MDM profiles on my iPhone or on my Mac. I attached the screenshot of my Mac to show that I can't open a new private window and I said also that this problem there is also in my iPhone.

Thanks for your comprehension
