My MacBook Air successfully joined my Wi-Fi network, but cannot reach the Internet.

They suggest I turn off the modem and router and restart the modem and then the routers. I have tried that 3 or 4 times, but still no luck. I have also gone to Network Settings then to Wi-Fi and then to Details then to TCP/IP and Renewed the DHCP Lease several times (and restarted), but I still cannot get the Mac to connect with my Network. What am I missing? How can I get my Mac to reach the Internet?

Have you installed any anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, third party security software, VPN software, or browser extensions? If so, they may be causing a problem. Uninstall them by following the developer's instructions.

Can you access your router's administration page? This will tell us if you at least have local network access.

Try booting the Apple Diagnostics which should connect to the WiFi. If the diagnostics are able to boot, then it would indicate a macOS issues with some configuration issue or third party software issue. If the diagnostics cannot access the online diagnostic server, then it would indicate an issue with your home network (router issue or router configuration is most likely) or your ISP.
