Changing display settings in accessibility on my mac

Slider and toggle points are invisible. My entire mac and all my photos have a distressing garish posterized appearance. Setting is frozen on maximum in error and I cannot find the slider or return the monitor to normal.

Am no expert in this area, yet your post certainly deserves some response!

Apple support have articles online that may be helpful:

Eg:

When an app on your Mac stops working, you might want to try the suggestions in the article below:

To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Display on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)

Eg: You might want to check the Options for Filter settings to see if you can turn off the. posterized appearance .. maybe then you can access the items that were "invisible" again?

Thank you kindly for your reply. My own experience with posterization comes from experimenting with photos and photoshop. As mentioned earlier, am no expert in the accessibility area, just. doing what I can with the help of Apple's documentation, and wondering about those invisible toggle points, and slider. (My Mac is still using Ventura OS, so reproducing your settings is not possible.)
