Requesting extra screen time for FaceTime/Messages from MacOS

We got our daughter a iMac for her birthday. We are managing her screen time on it using the Screen Time settings. We configured communication limits to limit communication to a set of specific contacts once she reaches screen time limits on iMessage/FaceTime.

When she runs out of screen time in other apps, she can request extra time through a dialog that shows up when she tries to start the disabled app.

iMessage and FaceTime don’t get fully disabled. Instead the contacts that are not on her allow-list are individually disabled.

There doesn’t seem to be an obvious way to request extra time to communicate with anyone other than the people on her allow list though once she reaches her screen time limits. Is this a feature that doesn’t exist or are we just unable to locate it?
