Downloading Project Libre On MacBook Pro M2 2022

Does anyone know how I can download Project Libre on my MacBook Pro? It's not allowing me to open it... When I follow other instructions on google/YouTube, the latest available instructions are from 2020 which isn't applicable to my current updated 2022 MacBook. For example, I don't have "Systems Preferences", only "Systems Settings". When I go to my Privacy and Security in Systems Settings, it doesn't have an option for "General"... Does anyone have any guidance on how I can install this as I need this for an Assessment! Any help will be greatly appreciated!

When you said "Project Libre", my first thought was of LibreOffice, but it appears this is something else.

Apparently it is some sort of project management tool whose developers bill it as "#1 Microsoft Project alternative." There is an Open Source desktop version, and there is also a cloud-based subscription version / service.

Apple has changed around System Preferences in recent versions of macOS. Some changes that come to mind:

  • Renaming System Preferences to System Settings
  • Reshuffling where things live to make the arrangement more like the one on iOS and an iPhone
  • Changing the "Allow applications downloaded from" setting (in Privacy & Security Settings under Ventura) so that the only choices are "App Store" and "App Store and identified developers". I don't see a choice to allow running unsigned applications (which don't even have breadcrumbs leading to their likely developers in the case that they turn out to contain malicious code).
