I am having issues I can’t share to my Gmail app, it tries to open but doesn’t, if i click share the share options open and choose the gmail app it won’t open, I have tried everything and am quite techy. Am using an iPhone 14 Pro ios 17.4.1
any suggestions please.
It started in February 2024
i have updated everything and the issue is still here. I can share with all other apps

Yes Gmail and emails works in all other ways it just won’t open on the iOS share dialogue box
I also have this issue and have been experiencing this for several months now, ever since I updated my phone a while back.
I’ve been trying to find a solution to fix it. I’ve tried deleting the app and re-downloading it, Checking my permissions in settings, restarting my phone, and I keep updating the app.. still no luck.
Everything else works fine inside the app. I’m just unable to share to gmail using the button when outside the app.
This is the only post I’ve found with someone experiencing the same issue. If you happen to find a solution please update!!🙏

Hi thanks for this suggestions, I have tried all of them apart from contacting Gmail support as it seems an iOS issue? But will try contacting g gmail support
