New additional HDD MacPro Quad-Core Intel Xeon

In a MacPro Quad-Core Intel Xeon ( med 2010) I have an extra 3TB HDD that I use to backup my Synology via Hyper-backup.

As a new HDD, I want to buy the Seagate HDD 3.5" 4TB ST4000DM004 Barracuda, but I wonder whether this drive is compatible with the MacPro. Can anyone tell me whether this will work?

Some very very old enclosures issued before MacOS 10.4 Tiger limited drive sizes to 2.2 TB. That issue has not been posted here for YEARS.

After MacOS after 10.4 Tiger, EVERY commercial hard drive is compatible with MacOS.

Be sure to ERASE the drive when you get it, so that Disk Utility (NOT NTFS drivers) are in charge, and move the drive-maker's Utilities to the Trash.
