Syncing iPod Classic with iTunes

When connecting my iPod with iTunes it does not show off anymore (the playlists do however) and I can't sync anylonger new songs etc with my iPod Classic.

Why does Apple Music and iTunes refuse to see my ipod classic? My ipod classic 80Gb is connecting to my computer and my laptop, and I can connect to it with the Apple Devices app. However that is horendously slow and will only allow me to sync everything from the computer after removing all my music from the ipod. I have songs on there which I cannot get access to elsewhere, so need the facility to selectively sync. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How to sync ipod classic with new windows 11 PC I have just changed computers and have installed itunes but I cannot sync my ipod classic to pick up new music I have installed in my itunes library. When I plug my ipod classic in to my pc I hear a ping and my ipod says it is connected but it is not shown on my pc monitor itunes page
