I‘m trying to pair my child‘s hearing aid (right) and cochlear implant (left) to my iPhone. However, it doesn’t allow me to pair both at the same time. I have to „forget“ one device in order to pair the other. Has anyone found out how to make this work?

That is definitely not how things should work, as far as I know. I'd start with the basics. Delete everything in Settings>BT, then restart your iPhone and start over. You may also want to reach out to the developers of both your hearing aid and your implant to see if they have any guidance. If you're working with an audiologist, you might see if they have any experience with this sort of thing.
The way Bluetooth generally works is that, while you can pair multiple devices of the same type (e.g. speakers), you can only connect of a type at a time. So are you saying you can't pair both? Or you can't connect to both?
