My iPhone won't vibrate on being silent mode

I just got my brand new iPhone 15 a month ago and I have found variety of minor issues that I have had to troubleshoot. This is my third iPhone and I have NEVER experienced anything like this!! I have to say that I am definitely NOT IMPRESSED with this device!!!

In Haptics and Accessibility, I have turned on all the options for my phone to vibrate on silent and to respond to "shaking". Nothing works!! I downloaded the app......Check My Device and upon confirmation that these haptics actually do not work, the suggestion was to go to Apple for the fix.

Any thoughts out there??

  1. Check "Play Haptics in Silent Mode":
    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Sounds & Haptics.
    3. Scroll down to the Ringtone AND Alert section.
    4. Make sure the toggle for Play Haptics in Silent Mode is turned on (Ticked). The pic below is self-explanatory
  2. Verify Vibration Pattern for Calls:
    1. In Sounds & Haptics, you might have accidentally set the vibration pattern for calls to "None."
    2. Under the Ringtones section, tap on Ringtone.
    3. At the top, you'll see Vibration. Make sure it's not set to None. Choose a vibration pattern you prefer.
  3. Accessibility Setting:
    1. In some cases, the general vibration setting in Accessibility might be turned off.
    2. Go to Settings > Accessibility.
    3. Scroll down and tap on Touch.
    4. Ensure the toggle for Vibration is turned on (green).

Thank you for your quick reply! As you suggested, I went to Sounds & Haptics....under RINGTONE AND ALERTS and tapped on RINGTONE ....BUT.....this is where the problem lies........the word 'VIBRATION' does not appear at the top of that page.....it simply is not there as you can see in the screenshot below (I deleted the bottom half of the screenshot for privacy sake as it showed my email address).....

As far as the Accessibility Setting goes, I had the toggle for VIBRATION turned on Green already.

This does appear to be a conundrum because I think I have tried everything. Do you think I will need to take it to Apple to fix this as it was suggested in the app I used......CHECK MY DEVICE....where the vibration test and the shaking test both failed?
