iPad 6th gen looping between white screen with apple logo and black screen
My iPad 6th gen was working absolutely flawlessly until about a week ago. I was drawing on it with my Apple Pencil when the program I was using (Adobe Illustrator) force quit unexpectedly and my iPad froze. I held down the top Power Button and Home Button to force restart it and it shut down (black screen). I held down the Power Button and Home Button again to turn it back on, and the white screen with the Apple logo flashed on for a few seconds, then went back to black for a few seconds, then Apple logo for a few seconds, then black for a few seconds, etc. and has been stuck on this loop ever since. I put it on the charger overnight and it charges just fine, that's not an issue. It just continues to loop between the black screen and the Apple logo until it dies. Then I charge it again and the loop continues.
I have tried connecting it to my computer (MacBook Pro, just updated to the newest software: Sonoma 14.4.1) but my iPad doesn't show up in the Finder bar. I hold the Power Button and Home Button while the iPad is connected to the computer, but it never shows the recovery mode screen.
I have tried every article known to man on the Apple support sites, I've searched the Apple Community and tried multiple "tricks" like jump-starting the iPad with the computer, but to no avail.
I have even tried calling Apple Care Support, who told me to take it in to the Apple Store -- which I did. They basically told me they didn't know what was wrong with it then tried selling me another iPad. Ummmm, no? I don't need to buy a new iPad, this one is in perfect condition except for the fact that it's stuck in the never-ending loop of DEATH.
Someone...anyone...please help...
