MyQ on Apple Watch Not Working

On Apple Watch Ultra2 on 10.4 and iPhone 15 Pro on 17.4.1. After MyQ App V5.254.0, the MyQ App works ok on iPhone, but Apple Watch always says “Cannot connect to server”. Deleted app and re-installed on watch and iPhone ,signed out/in on iPhone. WiFi , Bluetooth & LTE very good on watch. Rebooted watch and iPhone. Also no option to Add watch in MyQ app on iPhone. App admin contacted with no response.

It works. Thanks. I deleted the app from the watch directly. Then installed it directly from the Watch App Store. Close the App on the watch, the open again and allow to connect with Apple Watch app. It worked. Thanks.

Fixed it for me (as several others have said): Two steps ON the watch: Deleted the app from the watch directly, then install it directly from the Watch App Store. The app on watch will fail until you open the App on the Phone and it prompts you to authorize the watch. I had the same grief as others… deleting from phone and reinstalling from phone- even rebooting phone and watch- none of those worked. I suspect the key is getting the watch reauthenticated to the phone app- which only happened when deleted+installed from the watch itself.

YES to "Craftsman myQ Garage Access" // The install/uninstall works for a brief time - then it is useless again. Repeating this will fix briefly (until used?). As others are doing - I'm now using the "Craftsman myQ Garage Access" App, with the same credentials as the MYQ app (download to phone, login in, install on watch, add watch with "+" from phone app). It instantly works - and seems to work after multiple opens and closes on Watch unlike the broken "MyQ" app.

I've been having this same problem for a couple of weeks - sometimes the fix worked, but by the next day, the same issue popped up. I just called Chamberlain support (as opposed to chatting with them) and the rep had me try to install the 'Craftsman MyQ App' (Red Icon) instead of the 'MyQ App' (Blue Icon). Same company, same app, same login, and (at least for now) the apple watch app is working flawlessly. Good luck!

Found this on Reddit, works for now, but most fixes are short lived lately…

1. remove app from watch (on the watch) then the phone.

2. hard restart on each device.

3. add to phone and login setting it to remember login info.

4. close the app on the phone and allow Bluetooth.

5. install on the watch from the watch

6. start app on the watch (it will error out)

7. start app on the phone (it will ask to allow the watch access)

8. close the app on the phone and open again.

This seems to occur periodically when they update their app. Unfortunately, uninstallation of the app and reinstallation wasn’t successful this time. Ticks me off because I use my watch to open the garage door after a jog.

The MyQ garage door opener is a cheap add-on, that’s one saving grace.

Here’s MyQ/Chamberlain’s article on syncing to the Watch, but this does not seem to resolve this bug:
