Can't log out of icloud from my laptop

I am trying to log out from my device MacBook but unfortunately it seems impossible. I took many steps to log out but in vain. The error message stays the same. What I tried so far:


  • Log out from system settings by clicking on the profile and scrolling down to log uit. The switch is unavailable
  • Updated the system to Ventura 13.6.6
  • Restarted laptop
  • Tried to delete everything on the laptop in system settings- general - tranfer of reset: error message: Wisassistent wordt niet ondersteund op deze Mac Telling: (delete assistant is not being supported on this mac)
  • Log out on every app manually on my laptop. Switching off contact was unavailable.
  • From system setting internet accounts trying to turn of icloud. not possible to switch off contacts
  • Tried to delete icloud account from internet accounts, not possible. Got an error message telling it's because icloud services were being used.
  • Manually switching off the services was not possible. Some apps don't switch off

Tried to log out om my appleid.apple account manage page. Tried to delete the device (macbook). Gives an error message telling: Deze Mac kan geen verbinding maken met Apple Media Services vanwege een probleem met 'my icloudaccount'. This mac can;t connect to Apple Media Services because of a problem with my icloud account. The message sent me to system settings and asked to log in again in icloud on my macbook. Verified login through other devices with location and password check. Still nog possible to delete icloud in system settings.

  • Refreshed icloud page. At first macbook as device was not shown, but after refreshing the device appears on my devices again
  • Retried logging out for at least 10x and ended in the loop described above
  • Restarted laptop
  • Same loop
  • Turned laptop of by forcing, same loop
  • Refreshed wifi network, same loop
  • Logged out on icloud tried again in vain
  • Apple - Support - System Status checked this site, no possible malfunctions
  • Turned off laptop
  • Tried commands on Terminall on the laptop: defaults delete MobileMeAccounts & defaults delete MobileMeAccounts.UserCommands
  • restarted laptop
  • Tried to log out on icloud again for many times


I tried these steps, but unfortunately I am nog making progress and am stuck in the loop I described. I need your help. How can I delete my icloud account from this device?

PS On icloud am logged in on two MacBook Pro 13" and specifically I need to log out from the new one
