My ipod nano 4 generation was frozen on the screen with the Apple logo and wouldn’t connect to iTunes, so I put it in disk mode and it popped up in my files and the Apple Devices app but not still iTunes and I don’t know what to do. When I turn it off and on it I’d still stuck on the logo screen. Please help!

If Apple Devices and iTunes are installed, iTunes cannot recognize the device. In order for the device to be recognized in iTunes, uninstall the Apple Devices application, the problem will be solved and you will able restore your iPod using iTunes.
I had the same problem with the 2nd generation iPod touch.
iPod only connects to Apple devices app and not Itunes
