“My card” replaced as someone else’s contact card

This just happened now and I don’t know what to do. It has replaced my contact with another one. I can still see my original contact but it’s not mine or rather it’s not saying that it’s mine. So I read about this on this website but it’s not specific or instructive. I need a detailed way to solve this because I am freaking out.

Thank you so much but It still didn’t work it just showed call message email and video there was no option for make this my card. I don’t know what else to do.

Huh, interesting. Luckily there are a few other things to try- in the Settings app, scroll down to Contacts > My Info and choose the correct card from the contacts list.

If that doesn't work, you could delete the erroneous contact info (taking note of it first), assign your correct contact info to be My Card, then re-make the previous contact with the noted information.

You're in luck, it's an easy fix. Simply press and hold on your actual contact entry in Contacts, then select 'Make This My Card'.
