Can Apple Music show Albums?

Long time VLC user trying out Apple Music. This sounds like a stupid question, but please read on...

Under Library, I choose "Albums".

In the menu with the three lines, I choose "All Albums".

In the same menu, I choose "View Options", and pick sort by "Title".

In the same menu, I choose "Sort Options" and pick only "Title".

Every song has the same value for both the album name and album artist tags. Album=x, Album Artist=x, Artist=y.

In Apple Music's UI, I selected multiple songs in the same album, selected "Get Info", and checked "Album is a compilation of songs by various artists".

Result:

Albums which contain songs with different artists are shown as different albums. Thus there are about 20 tiles shown for the same album, and like I said, the Album Artist and the Album are the same for all 20 songs.

I choose "Get info", and the "Album is a compilation..." checkbox is unchecked. No matter how many times I re-check it, the setting never sticks.

I would like very much to play the album, not play one song at a time from the album.

Does Apple Music have this capability?

A workaround appears to be to create a playlist for every album, but it is a bit of work to do that when the tags already indicate how they should be organized.
