For a few days now I haven't been able to view iPod Classic on iTunes

My os Windows 11 23H2. - iTunes ver. 12.13.1.3 - For a few days I have no longer been able to view my iPod Classic on i Tunes. It is connected to my PC but it no longer opens in iTunes, thus preventing me from managing my music.

iTunes 12.11.3 won't recognise iPod Classic Since downloading iTunes 12.11.3 on my PC, iTunes no longer recognises my iPod Classic (one of the really old ones, 80GB with a grey disc control and white button set into the front of the housing). All was working fine before downloading iTunes 12.11.3. I love this iPod - it's been part-way round the world with me and it's less complex than newer versions - just does what I want it to without any extra stuff I don't want, but now iTunes is shutting it out. Please can anyone help?

ipod classic & itunes i tried to sync my ipod classic to itunes today and i am not seeing the usual screen on my mac that lets me add playlists the ipod. i can see what is on my ipod but i'm not getting the summary screen or the playlists with check boxes. i am running itunes 12.8 on an older mac running 10.3 (high sierra). has apple changed something i didn't hear about?
