Nintendo Switch SNES controller responds incorrectly with games
I have a Nintendo Switch SNES controller that I like using with my iPad, but for some reason it stopped working correctly a few months ago. Whenever I try pressing the “A” button it would bring up the in game pause menu, which it obviously should not do. In addition the “B”, “X”, and “Y” buttons don’t respond anymore. I tried remapping the “A” button with “B” but now that button inherits the same problem and “A” does not work along with the rest of the face buttons. Inexplicably, the D-Pad along with “Start” and “Select” and the “L” and “R” triggers work just fine. Not only that, but my normal Joy-Cons work fine with no issues and the SNES controller works perfectly on the Switch. Is there a way to fix this? Keep in mind that the controller did work fine before on my iPad.
