iPhone 13 mini Not turning on

Hi all. I think my iPhone 13 mini got stuck up. I bought it 2 years ago and never used it. I just kept it in my drawer. 2 days ago when I tried to turn it on, it won't turn on. I did the basic troubleshooting to force-start it by pressing and releasing the volume up and down buttons simultaneously and then pressing and holding the side button. The "not-charging" battery appeared followed by the Apple logo. But then, it quickly disappeared and I'm back to a black screen.

I repeated the steps several times and I got the same results. I need help, please.

You mentioned, “pressing and releasing the volume up and down buttons simultaneously”. Those buttons should not be pressed simultaneously. Please see below:

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2)  If the above does not work then - Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.

(3)  If that does not help, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
