‘Get info’ option in apple books

I’ve noticed I have an old cover art for purchased books, previously I could update the old cover with the new cover that is in the book store. But now I can’t , the get info option is no longer there. Is there a way to update to the new covers for books?

What is a good substitute for Apple Books now that it is completely broken? What would it take for Apple to release a version of Books that is functional? List view was wrecked in the latest version of Books (4.3). You can no longer view a list without cover icons. You can no longer sort by date added. You can no longer sort by category (useful for finding books that have not been put in a category). Sorting by author randomly sorts by first or last name. Since Apple has abandoned its eBook customers is there a good 3rd party substitute?
