AirPods Max went crazy!!!

My AirPods maxes were working completely fine, but today putting them on, they made popping sounds, and a constant background white noise. Audio is muffled, very bad sound quality. After switching between transparency modes, OFF was the craziest of them all. It started increasing volume by itself, making the low frequency sounds and bass very loud. The volume became louder and louder, and out of fear I switched back to noise cancellation… BOOM. The switching sound effect almost bursted my eardrums out.

If I switch between modes, and don’t leave it on OFF mode for too long, the bad sound quality issue still remains, just as the white noise and the crackling popping sounds.

Noise cancellation and transparency mode isn’t working as intended also.

Yes I did try:

Playing from different device, resetting the AirPods, cleaning it. Yes my device is up to date ( 15 pro max ), latest firmware.
