I'd like to drag the video clip and when it turns red, to have it duplicate the clip so I can fast drag with multiple duplicates. Its just a fast way to test audio clips against repeated video. A lot of time, if the video clip is too short, I have to puzzle piece the clips together verses just extending it to exactly where I want it.
Another reason is I want to extend my image clips easily.
Basically a more efficient and faster way to do "Paste Connected Clip"

And if you want to do multiple copies, you can make a few like this, then select them all and option drag them together, instead of one by one.

You CAN drag multiple clips very quickly. To create copies by dragging just hold down the OPTION key.
Option drag the whole clip, not the edit point.
Oh I'm sorry I meant that the fastest way currently to do it is "Paste Connected Clip" to lay them out very fast in multitudes.
But it would be nice to just hold and drag to duplicate many very quickly. Im sure I could also just change the duration of the image clip to make it much longer.
The goal was not to have to manually duplicate many clips.
Ill use the "The Paste Connected Clip" command which is fastest to create the initial batch - since it auto-places them with every tap and then OPTION drag multiple clips, I already know about the OPTION command but thank you. Cheers.
I've been trying Option Drag but it's still giving me that red line dead end and not repeating
The red mark means the end of the original video.
