Messages on Macbook Air not sending

One day when I opened my macbook suddenly I was not able to send messages on it. I have restarted my mac, signed out of messages and resigned in, and also turned them on and off. When I try to deliver something it just says not delivered as if I do not have wifi, which I do. Any advice?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.3

All messages are controlled by the iPhone.

Make sure to toggle Messages off & on from your iPhone settings.

Also make sure that the iPhone Messages app settings have them forwarded to your Mac.

Power off your iPhone, then power it on again. Sometimes an iPhone needs to be rebooted.

Make sure iOS on your iPhone is completely up to date as well.
