Popup on Safari says your device has been hacked

I was on safari looking for a new car I found this link it was a nice car for cheap so I decided to check it once I pressed it it froze then a pop up came and said something like your phone has been hacked or idk and there was a option that said close that’s was the only option I got really scared I closed my tabs close and phone my phone and deleted safari browse and history does it mean I got hacked. I DINDINT PRESS THE CLOSE BuTTON thank you for reading to the end please someone tell me.
