My apps won’t download it says verification needed, then I put in my billing information it says card already in use and declines.

When I go to download an app, it says “Verification Required” then asks for billing information. I have no active subscriptions, and when I put my card in it says “already in use” so I remove my card and re add it. It says same thing or invalid card.

If needed: Find out how to pay an unpaid order.

If a message says 'billing problem with previous purchase' or 'verification required' - Apple Support

or

What to do: If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support


Else: Seems your card-provider is not verifying your "invalid" card for Apple purchases ?

If you have disputed a charge from Apple, you may need to ask your card-provider to allow payments to Apple again. Or, you may need to authorise your card-provider to allow international transactions using that card.?


You may want to check which payment methods Apple can accept in your country or region:
