How can I reset passcode for an iPhone from a deceased family member?

After a death in my family going through the house , finding an old iPhone how do I get it out of being disabled? I have looked around and tried everything I would have thought was the password or code but no luck. any ideas

If you don't know the log in credentials for this phone, you can ask Apple for help, but you will have to provide Apple the documents they require to gain access to a deceased family members account.
