How to browse movies rented on Apple TV

I have rented a film, I had to pause and take a phone call and my Apple TV turned itself off and now I cannot find my film that I just rented?

Is this for the Apple TV box? If so, which model?

Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Find your Apple TV model number - Apple Support

Else on what device and model is this happening?

  • Partially watched content should show up in Up Next, with first tile a the latest relevant item, unless you disabled the Play History (named Viewing History on Mac).
  • Rentals should also show up in your Library, where it may show Rentals and Store purchases separately.
  • You may also use the Store tab or Search to find that title again. Then resume from there.

Any of these should work.

If the 48 hours renting limit has been reached during your pause, then the rental will be expired.

Thanks for your response. Interestingly when I opened up my iTunes on my iPad I could access the rental, but not on iTunes via my Apple TV. I can confirm I am

using the same login details for both. So I restarted my Apple TV and logged into iTunes again on the Apple TV and then my half completed rental was available to continue watching. I cannot but help suspect that “iTunes was confused” between my iPad and my Apple TV as both were logged in at the same time. But in theory that should’t matter. Thanks.
