Hi, I am currently deciding which macbook I should buy that is the best value for money for my use case. I want to start a freelancing career and the tools that I will be using are Figma, Webflow, and potentially photoshop as well. In the background, I will have my Opera browser on with several tabs as well as Notion.
As a designer, I would go with the MacBook Pro. This Mac is more powerful for design purposes than a MacBook Air. The MacBook Pro features active cooling, so it can perform at the top of its notch longer then the MacBook Air, which features only passive cooling

The 14" M3 MacBook Pros have some of the features (mini-LED-backlit display, HDMI port, SDXC card slot, cooling fans) of their M3 Pro and M3 Max siblings. But they don't have the third Thunderbolt port, or the ability to drive two external monitors with the lid open.
