I'm trying to add Apple Pay for my 13yo son but when I click ADD it says “Payment cards are not supported for this account”. I can't for the life of me figure out why this is happening based on everything I've read online so far. Help!

Have you confirmed his age in his Apple ID is correct?

Do you have an Apple Family Sharing Group setup up? If so, are you the Family Organizer? Please review the Apple Support article I linked below.

What does her Apple ID show her age is?

I suspect it may be the issuing bank not allowing the card. Please contact Apple Support in Israel.

That’s a possibility. When purchase sharing is enabled only Family Organizer can add payment method to their account.
You add it for her through your Apple ID Account as the Family Organizer.

If you remover here from Apple Family, does it show the same message?
Yes! Of course! Like a million times. His birthdate is registered as Oct. 14, 2010 and his age is correctly displayed as 13 years old.
And yes, family sharing is set up. I wouldn't have been able to create an account for him otherwise.
Any ideas why he can't use Apple Pay?
I'm having the exact same problem with my daughter (born 9 days before your son ;)
I have Apple Pay, Purchase Sharing, Apple Family group etc and I still can't add a card to her Wallet.
Could it be because it is not allowed in Israel? I know Apple says 13 but it is also dependant on countries

I and my son are in Israel; neither of us uses a VPN on our phones and it's definitely not the credit card company b/c he's been using Google Pay for years and also my daughter has my cards on her iPhone, as do I on my Android.
Yes. But I didn't have Apple Pay set up for myself. Could this be the reason? I just now added the card (but not with kid so can't check immediately if there's a connection).
I’m not sure how to do that. Do you have a link where I can see how to do it? I didn’t find it anywhere in the Family tab

So I did all that is said to do in the link, she’s part of the family and purchase sharing is enabled but I still can’t add a credit card to her account. Could it be that Israel does not allow it?
