Hulu log-in problem

Must I turn off VPN to log in to Hulu? I keep getting the "Hulu is a U.S. company etc" message. I AM in the U.S.

After restarting my WiFi and the apple tv several times I was able to get accurate info. I’m still unable to login. I’m not using a vpn and I turned off my ad blocker on my phone while troubleshooting (though why my phone would impact a login on my tv is beyond me). Google is not helping me, I can’t find much of anything about this specific issue or it’s on r/nordvpn or something else irrelevant. The Hulu agent escalated this to their tech team and said it may actually be the brand new software update is just buggy and I got unlucky. How likely is that to be the case? I paid for hulu and cant sign in.. I paid hulu..then i cant sign in or change password..It says Roku is a problem with the verification..But i paid in with apple..

Yes, most streaming companies have instituted measures to block VPNs.

VPN on iPhone is virtually useless and can cause all sorts of issues as you're seeing. You don't need a VPN on an iPhone at all.
