Home Button Making a Weird Noise on iPhone SE (3rd gen)

Problem: my iPhone home button is making a weird high pitch clicking sound when I press it. This also applies to any iPhone that has a home button with haptic feedback.

Solution: simply restart your phone by holding down the power button and then sliding the power off button that appears on the screen. After than turn your phone back on. The home button should now be giving normal haptic feedback.

Note: this was a problem that I was experiencing on my own iPhone. Many people have asked the question of how to fix it on this website but the solutions provided were simply inaccurate. Even though I already know the solution to this problem, I am posting it so that other people can hopefully resolve the issue.
