Unable to connect my iPod 2nd generation to my WIFI

I have an iPod touch 2nd Generation and can’t connect to my Wi-Fi (I get the incorrect password error). I searched and found some old threads (over a year old) but didn’t want to reply there. Other devices connect just fine. As said -in older posts- and some knowledge I know to connect to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, still get the same error. Did the suggested troubleshooting resetting the network settings, restarting all involved equipment etc.

Now I’m expecting a 3rd Generation later this week, not sure if that would make a difference. Oddly my 1st iPad mini also doesn’t connect. The Hotspot on my iPhone 15 Pro doesn’t show up in the Wi-Fi list.

Any thoughts?
