iPhone is asking for a 6 digit code which I never set up, how to reset it

Hello, I have an iPhone X (old I know) and no other Apple devices. It's asking me for a 6 digit code which I never set up. I can't reset the code from another apple device bc I don't have one. Can anyone help me figure out how to resolve this?ī
