AirDrop fails between iPhone and MacBook

iOS 17.4.1 and macOS 14.4.1 AirDrop fail all the time trying to send from my iPhone to my Macbook. If i try to send from my Macbook to my iPhone AirDrop can't find my iPhone. Of course, Bluetooth is turned on both devices. I just want to highlight that this problem is coming from the previous iOS version. Unfortunately, with the latest update to iOS and macOS, this problem remains. This is so frustrating!

Airdrop has always been finicky.

You can try shutting down and restarting both devices and try again.
