Whatsapp Calls NEVER Ring

I'm on an iPhone 14 Pro and my WhatsApp calls never ring. Everything is updated and I checked everything suggested online. No, my phone is not in Do Not Disturb mode. I don't seem to have a "Phone Noise Cancellation" feature on this model. I'm sure it's not any of the things getting adviced. It doesn't matter if the phone is locked or not either. I've had it multiple times when I had the phone in my hand doing something else, when I see a notification for a missed call appear on the top. Or sometimes when it's locked by my side and never rings, I receive this notification.

I've seen many similar complaints with no actual solution.

I don't have the option to leave my phone at the tech support for days either.

From what I can see WhatsApp says this is an Apple issue and Apple says this is a Whatsapp issue and nobody has a solution.

There are many fine alternatives to WhatsApp. Signal is available and with well-regarded security, for instance.

Apple is going to point you at Meta Facebook for assistance, as Meta Facebook are the point of contact for their own app, and are also in the best position to address issues in iOS with Apple should any of those exist.

I'm unclear why this is an Apple issue though, given I'm not aware of widespread reports of failures with other apps.

But if you do have Focus, Screen Time, or Parental Controls enabled on your iPhone, disable all of that and check again.
