Why Is Safari slow after Configuring eduroam on Mac?

At first, my Safari browser worked perfectly fine with a nice speed in opening pages and different webs. But lately, specifically after configuring Eduroam on my Mac, Safari has started working very slowly. Another different condition from my computer is that, because of work, I let it 3-4 days in standby, I don't know if that may have any influence in this, it's the two only things that were different from the first state to the second one without Safari working properly.

Weirdly, this doesn't happen on Firefox or Google Chrome, which open pages really fast.

I've tried disabling Bluetooth, connecting to different wi-fi nets, erasing Safari's cache, everything is updated...

First, try launching Safari with the Shift key held down to clear some caches for Safari.

If the above doesn't work try booting into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE 1: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

NOTE 2: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will insure a successful boot into Safe Mode.
