Running macOS 12.7.4 and can't update to version 13 on my 2017 MacBook Air. It says I need version 13 to be able to download and run the Pages App.
Any suggestions .. ?
You will need a 2018 or newer MacBook Air to install macOS Ventura 13.*.

You might try to see if you can run PhotoStage Slideshow Producer on your MBP. It's the closest app I've found to iMovie 6 HD which was the best and most versatile iMove version every offered.
You can easily add multiple audio tracks, set fade in/out for them and set on screen time for all slides or individual slides. You can set the type of transition for all slides. The free version exports to the .mp4 format.
It Works on macOS 10.5 and above.
