Is there really no PayPal app in the Chinese app store?

Today I got a client in China and I directed him how to pay me, but he said there's no PayPal app in their app store. This was amazing to me as I have a few other Chinese clients already and they pay me through PayPal. When I contacted them, they confirmed that they don't see any PayPal app and they can pay me only via PC-based browser, going to the PayPal website.

Does anyone have access to the Chinese app store and can confirm this for me? What might be the reason for this?
