Etrecheck Report - What next please?

As advised on here, I added Etrecheck and ran a report to find more information to solve the beach balling issues on my 2017 Mac. I don't have a clue what to do next and I am desperately trying to get my work done. Can anyone help please?

I apologise if this question is repetitive but I really don't know what else to do.

you have both McAfee and Intego installed. anti-virus apps are neither needed nor recommended. all they are good at is interfering with macOS and emptying your wallet. you would do well to uninstall both of them using the developer's instructions. once you do that, please run another etrecheck report and share it with us to see if they were successfully removed.

The multiple virus apps are probably what's causing the slowness. As @jeffreythefrog already suggested, get rid of Intego & MacAfee. The built-in Apple a/v coupled with Malwarebytes is all you need, and they won't interfere with the system.

You also have DrCleanerProPlus, one of those "cleaner" apps; you should also remove it. It's not doing you any favors and may be a contributor to some of your system slowness.

It also appears that you have Google Chrome (there are a number of Google components in your Etrecheck report). Chrome is a known resource hog. It would be better to replace it with Firefox.

This is an issue, or was at the time of testing:

Top Processes Snapshot by CPU:

Process (count) CPU (Source - Location)

photoanalysisd 97.80 % (Apple) ⚠️

EtreCheckPro 12.58 % (Etresoft, Inc.)

WindowServer 4.40 % (Apple)

mdbulkimport (2) 4.40 % (Apple)

mds 1.54 % (Apple)

This outside article show how to deal with that:

A big +1 on MartinR's information on so-called "cleaning" apps. Apple built elegant, automated self-maintenance routines into macOS over 20 years ago. They nicely take care of ALL needed housekeeping and tidying up, including defragging, without your having think about it.

Macs—cat-like—clean themselves. Adding that extra stuff only interferes with what you paid Apple to include in the OS.
